The Zambezi below Victoria Falls offers Grade 5 rapids and is rated among the world's top rafting experiences. Low water means bigger, more thrilling rapids.

Budget Travel

Jan - Mar

Green season rates can be 30-50% lower than peak season. Fewer tourists, lush scenery, and baby animals. Victoria Falls and Kafue remain excellent value.

Photography

May - Jun

Golden hour light lasts longer, dust-free air after the rains, green-to-gold transitional landscapes, and excellent wildlife starting to concentrate. Ideal conditions for any lens.
